Christopher Columbus discovered Costa Rica (meaning "Rich Coast") in 1502. Today, Costa Rica is a prime tourist destination, with rain forests that exist as they did a million years ago and beaches with seawater as clear as glass and fish the color of rainbows.
La Vida Loca was born in '99 when Oregonian "Jimbo" Jensen bought a long-time vacant bar. In tucked away Playas del Coco you can find authentic German cuisine from his Austrian chef.
