Cathy in Puerto Vallarta
When most people think of Mexico, they think of the special culture of the state of Jalisco: the Mariachi music, the colorful, swirling traditional dresses, and the manly horsemen. Puerto Vallarta is on the coast of this most representative of all Mexican states.
The statue of the boy on the seahorse is a well-known fixture on Playa Los Muertos, at the "Old Beach."
