Stephanie in Punta Cana
Now the story here is that Stephanie had it all planned to get a picture of herself in her Hippie Skivvies while on vacation. The day to leave came and she's lookin' everywhere for a sign. Nothing seemed appropriate, but being a resourceful gal, she strips down and hops on the back of her rental car. See on the license plate? It says "Republica Dominica." Yeah, get your eyes off her butt and look. Can't see it? Go see your eye doctor.
The Dominican Republic was explored by Columbus on his first voyage in 1492. He named it La Espaņola and his son Diego was its first viceroy. The capital, Santo Domingo, was founded in 1496 and is the oldest European settlement in the Western Hemisphere. Visitors today can still discover golden sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, mysterious valleys and majestic mountains.
