Located on the Central Coast of California about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the town of San Luis Obispo is the home of Hippie Skivvies. The town was established in 1772, when Father Junipero Serra founded the fifth in a chain of 21 missions stretching from San Diego to Sonoma. Built by the Chumash indians living in the area, Mission San Luis Obispo de Toloso's combination of belfry and vestibule is unique among California missions. The town is known as a pleasant tourist destination which has very mild weather all year long. We at Hippie Skivvies are proud to call it home and hope you'll visit.
