Marty & Evan at Spyglass Park
Just around the bend in the road north of Pismo Beach lies the enclave of Shell Beach, one of the most scenic spots you'll ever find. Rugged cliffs, crevis-filled rocks with sand crabs and a sandy beach make for an afternoon or day adventure. It's located on the Central Coast of California about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The main attraction in this little town are the vistas of the Pacific Ocean. Drive down to Ocean Boulevard (which is only one lane in each direction) to find parking and a set of stairs providing access to the sandy beach below. There's even a perfect lookout gazebo in the very small Margo Dodd Park. Take a picnic basket and enjoy some breathtaking sunset views.
